FVeda

FVeda is a live investment-learning platform built for beginners who need a safe place to practise judgment before real money is involved. Users learn a concept, make a paper investment decision using real market prices and a 10,000 dollar virtual portfolio, record the reasoning behind that decision, and return to review what happened. The AI Coach is the adaptive reflection layer in this loop. It uses limited learning context, such as the lesson being studied or simulated portfolio holdings, to explain concepts, challenge assumptions and help users examine risk. It is deliberately not designed to predict prices or tell users what to buy, sell or hold. This matters because short-term market outcomes do not always reveal decision quality. A profitable trade can come from weak reasoning, and a losing trade can still reflect a sound process. FVeda therefore focuses on the thinking behind the decision, not only the return. The product is already live and combines paper investing, structured learning, AI-guided reflection, budgeting and learning credentials. FVeda Campus extends the same model to universities, clubs and youth programmes through private learning challenges. No brokerage account is connected and no real trade can be executed inside FVeda. The goal is simple: turn financial mistakes into lessons before they can become real losses.

AI component
FVeda uses large language models as a contextual learning and reflection layer, not as a trading signal engine. When a user asks the AI Coach a question, the system sends the question together with limited situational context from the product, such as the lesson currently being studied or the user's simulated portfolio holdings. This lets the model respond to the decision the learner is actually facing instead of returning a generic finance explanation. Depending on availability, FVeda routes requests through supported AI providers including Vercel AI Gateway, NVIDIA NIM, Groq, OpenRouter and Anthropic. The AI is used for natural-language explanation, guided questioning, assumption testing and reflection on simulated decisions. The human remains the decision-maker. The Coach is deliberately designed not to issue personalised buy, sell or hold instructions, execute transactions or predict a “best asset”. It can instead ask what evidence supports a thesis, what could invalidate it, what risk was overlooked, or which concept the learner should revisit. Privacy boundaries are built into the context flow. Email addresses and account IDs are not sent to AI providers. Simulated portfolio data may be used for learning context, real budget figures are excluded unless the user explicitly enables sharing. In short: simulation creates the decision, and AI turns that decision into personalized learning.
Impact / results
FVeda is live at fveda.site. As of 21 September 2026, the platform has 9 registered product users, including 8 monthly active users and 3 weekly active users. Learners currently have 3 persisted simulated investment decisions, and the AI Coach has completed 13 successful exchanges across 4 users. The product is still at an early validation stage, so we do not report a retention percentage from the current sample. Structured lesson and quiz completions have not yet been recorded. Beyond individual usage, FVeda has an institutional partnership with Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), creating an initial pathway for the Campus model. FVeda Campus is designed for universities and student communities to run private investment-learning challenges where learners are assessed not only by portfolio outcomes, but also by documented reasoning, learning progress and consistent participation. At this stage, the strongest evidence is that FVeda is already a live product with real users, real AI usage and a clear institutional route for scaling.
Innovation
Most AI products in retail investing try to predict, recommend or automate the next action. FVeda takes the opposite approach: it uses AI to improve the decision-maker rather than predict the market. Traditional courses teach concepts but rarely observe how a learner applies them. Trading simulators let people practise, but usually judge success by portfolio return. Generic AI chatbots can answer questions, but are disconnected from the learner's actual decision. FVeda connects all three moments in one loop: learn a concept, make a simulated decision, explain the reasoning, then reflect with contextual AI. Its key distinction is that decision quality is separated from short-term market outcome. A profitable paper trade is not automatically treated as a good decision, and a losing trade is not automatically a bad one. The Coach focuses on assumptions, evidence, risk and what could invalidate the user's thesis. This creates a deliberately different category: AI-guided investment decision practice, where AI does not replace human judgment, it trains it before real money is at risk.
Connection to Azerbaijan
FVeda was founded and built in Azerbaijan in 2026 and is being developed from Baku for a global problem: helping first-time investors learn how to make financial decisions before risking real money. The product has been presented through the Baku ID 2026 startup ecosystem and is connected to the local university and innovation community. Its Campus model is designed for Azerbaijani universities, student clubs and youth programmes to run private investment-learning challenges without requiring brokerage accounts or exposing students to real financial risk. By combining financial education, simulated markets and responsible AI in one locally built product, FVeda contributes a new use case to Azerbaijan's AI ecosystem: AI that develops human judgment rather than replacing it.
